Building Harmonious Society Should be Based on the Livelihood of the People

构建社会主义和谐社会,是党中央提出的重大战略思想。解决民生问题不仅是构建和谐社会的重要内容,而且是构建和谐社会的有效途径。构建和谐社会必须着力解决民生问题,并以解决民生问题来推动和谐社会建设。解决民生问题是执政党当前工作的重中之重,具有紧迫性、全局性和时代性特征。解决民生问题应当坚持经济建设、政治建设、文化建设和社会建设"四位一体"的原则。

building harmonious society is the significant strategic concept proposed by the CCP. Solving the problem of livelihcod of people is not only the important content of building harmonious society, but also is the efficient path to construct harmonious society. To construct the harmonious society we must try to solve the problem of livelihcod of the people, and impel the construction of harmonious society by solving the problem of livelihcod of the people. Solving the problem of livelihood of people is the most important part of incumbent party＇s current work, with the pressing, overall and contemporary characteristic. Solving the problem of livelihcod of people must insist on ＂the quatemity＂ principle of economic, political, cultural and social construction.
