Annealing lehr roller is an important part of annealing lehr. This paper analyses advantages and disadvantages of steel roller currently used in anneling lehr based on the description of annealing lehr roller property requirement concerning glass production, and also analyses and compares the possibility of other material instead of steel for annealing lehr roller.
