Analysis of Layered Strategies in Video Multicast

分层组播可以适应视频传输中接收者的异构性要求并具有良好的可扩展性,为异构网络环境下组播的有效实施提供了解决办法,目前存在的主要问题在于整体视频接收质量不稳定以及对网络拥塞响应缓慢等。通过网络仿真器NS就协议的运行效率和公平性特征进行了实验评价。

With good expansibility, layered multicast can adapt diversity requirement in video documents transfer. It is recommended as an ideal solution to the problems of Internet, but there are still some problems to be solved in multicast, such as inter - session fairness problem and the poor performance of the end - to - end trattqc control strategies etc. In order to analyze the effectiveness of layered strategies, some experiments by NS simulator is carried out in this paper.
