Purpose： To solve the problems of living and medical security for the elders living in ＂empty nests＂ in universities based on the community service system. Method： Based on the data gained through investigation by interview, rehabilitation centers are recommended to be established as the places for providing living and medical services for the elders living in ＂empty nests＂. Results and Conclusion： It is feasible and practical to utilize the university＇s multi-channelled resources for the provision of living and medical services for the elders living in ＂empty nests＂.
