The 21st century is the century of rising Asia. However, the Western response to the repulsion, even degenerate into protectionism and panic. In his new book—The New Hemisphere rise of Asia with ： The Irresistible Shift of Global Power to the East, the author Kishore Mahbubani gives us a description of the rise of Asia and its impact upon the world through Asian eyes, and also, carries out an in-depth analysis of the ongoing shift of global power to the east. The author advises the West to accept the rise of Asia de facto and to work with Asia. He also tells how we Asia should do to react to the change of the West. This paper is a book review of the book.
