本文用一系列物理手段较全面的分析了目前市场上一种常用型号自动扶手电梯传动轴的失效原因,并提出了几点可操作的改进建议——合理地选材和精心地加工是非常重要的。

A failure analysis for the transmission shaft for a kind of escalator has been performed by means of metal physics techniques. In order to increase the lifetime of the transmission shaft, modification measures for material optimization and machining precision, which are mainly important factors to the shaft lifetime, are suggested in this paper.
