科技英语的话语标记语及其翻译

Discourse Markers in Scientific English and Translation

本文从认知角度,借助关联理论框架,对科技文体中的英语话语标记语进行分析。对其进行分类,阐述了它们在科技文中具有的特征及功能。重点结合实例分析在科技英语翻译过程中如何发挥话语标记语的明示导向功能,并具体提出两点建议,以更利于翻译交际功能的实现。

From the perspective of cognition based on the framework of Relevance Theory, the paper analyses the application of discourse marker in scientific English translation. Upon the foundation of Fraser＇s research, the paper classifies discourse markers in scientific English into four groups and expounds their characteristics and functions respectively. It highlights the study of how translators should display ostensive function of discourse markers by giving two suggestions in order to promote successful communication in translation.
