摘要
针对灰度红外热像图和可见光图像的融合问题,提出了一种基于感知颜色空间的新的图像融合算法。该算法基于IHS色空间建立红外源图像灰度级与色调、饱和度和亮度等与人的感知颜色特征之间的函数关系,并根据可见光图像的边缘信息对亮度进行融合,最后通过矩阵转换,得到融合图像的RGB值。实验结果表明:该算法可以有效地融合红外热像图和可见光图像,融合图像不仅保留了环境细节,而且突出了目标,具有良好的目视效果。
A new image fusion algorithm based on perceptual color space is proposed to fuse the infrared and visible images. Firstly a function between infrared image and perceptual color characters is established. Then based on the edge information of the visible image,the intensity component is modified by fusion. At last,the fusion image is created by the inverse IHS transform. Experimental comparisons show that the proposed algorithm is valid to fuse the infrared and visible images and the fusion image with good visual effects can reserve the background information and stand out the target.
