摘要
Halliday把主位分为非标记性和标记性。标记性主位在语篇中可以发挥多种作用,如帮助语言使用者传递不同类型的信息、转移信息焦点、突出信息对比、加强句内或句际的连贯,实现多种文体效果等。非标记性主位或标记性主位的选择对于语篇翻译具有重要的意义。
According to Halliday, themes can be divided into unmarked themes and marked themes. Marked themes can perform various functions in a discourse, such as transmitting various types of information, highlighting focal information, contrasting important information, ensuring intrasentential and intersentential coherence, and achieving stylistic effects. The choice of an appropriate theme in discourse translation is of great significance.
