《怪杰》是一篇有名的广播文稿,本文主要从措辞、句法和篇章三个层次的修辞活动分析作者是如何成功地设置悬念,完成怪杰这一人物形象的艺术塑造的。
The Monster is a well-known broadcast script with its vivid and impressive character. The paper attempts to analyze how Deems Taylor successfully sets suspense through the employment of rhetorical devices of three levels, namely, diction, syntax and discourse, and thus portrays the vivid and impressive character.
