摘要
ETL即数据抽取(Extract)、转换(Transform)、装载(Load)过程,通过讨论ETL在电信客户关怀项目中的实践应用,说明ETL在数据仓库的建设中占据了相当重要的位置。ETL技术的引用,大大缩短了生成汇总数据的时间,使应用查询更快,更高效,明显降低了应用系统的负担。
ETL means the procedure of data Extract, Transform and Load. By discussing the ETL application in the Telecommunication Customer Care project, it shows that ETL occupies a very important position in the Data Warehouse area. The using of ETL technique will greatly decrease the time of generating the result data, which makes the query quicker and more efficient. The burden on the application system will be reduced obviously.
