摘要
生活的最高目的，就是寻求和创造生存世界中不断变幻的美。《紫颜色》中的女主角西丽在其他黑人女性的帮助下逐渐发现了自己作为一个生命个体的存在之美。文章从美学角度对作品中的服装之美、音乐之美等方面进行分析，揭示它们对女主人公的成长和觉醒所起的作用。
The supreme purpose of life is to seek and create beauty of the living world. The heroine of The Color Purple, Celie, with the help of other black women, finally finds the beauty of her own existence. The paper is to make an analysis of beauty of clothes and music in the novel, and its function in the awakening of feministic consciousness of the heroine.
