It is widely believed in the traditional translation theory that the role of translators is invisible and unimportant and they are the spokesmen of the writers. Moreover, they must serve two masters at a time:one is the works which they translate ;another was readers who they would entertain. Based on the Freud's modern psper compares the relation between translators, the originalworks or authors and readers with that between id,ego, and superego, which helps people to takecognizance of translators'psychological sufferings and to pay attention to translation andtranslators, aimed at enlarging the horizon of translating studies and enriching and deepening translation theories.
