关联理论视角下的翻译方法浅析

On Translation Methods from the Perspective of the Relevance Theory

本文从关联理论的视角出发,阐述了其理论的主要观点并在其指导下提出了可用于翻译实践的一些策略方法。关联理论的翻译观把翻译视作交际过程,既包含静态的代码模式,又有动态的推理模式。在翻译实践中,译者应在交际过程中寻找与原语作者和译语读者双向的最佳关联性。

From the perspective of Relevance Theory, this paper elaborates some main ideas of this theory and puts forward several methods for translation practice. According to Relevance Theory, translation is part of human communication, which has to do with both a ＂static code model＂ and a ＂dynamic inferential model＂. Translators, in translation practice, should try to find out the ＂Opti- mal relevance＂ both regarding to the original communicator and toward the receptor language reader.
