高语境文化与低语境文化的差异及其成因

本文在对高低语境文化的概念进行界定之后,根据文化是一个综合性整体的特点,讨论两者之间文化价值观念的差异;接着从认知的角度,分析造成高低语境文化差异的历史因素及其必然导致交际模式的差异,从而给跨文化交际带来困难。同时在论述过程中,提出了高语境文化形成的两个条件。

After defining high -context and low -context cultures, this paper discusses the differences between these two kinds of cultures based on one of the characteristics of culture： culture is an integrated whole. Then, it analyzes the historical and cultural causes underlying the differences from the perspective of cognition and observes that two conditions are necessary for a high - context culture to form.
