摘要
介绍了轻烧氧化镁和氢氧化镁在环保领域中的应用现状。轻烧氧化镁和氢氧化镁在中和处理酸性废水、脱除废水中的重金属离子以及烟气脱硫方面的应用，较之传统碱类物质具有很多优越性。国内有丰富的镁矿资源，生产这两种产品进而在环保项目中推广应用具有重要意义。
The application of Light burned magnesia and magnesium hydroxide to environmental protection is presented. It is pointed out that the two products have advantages over traditional basic substances in treatment of acidic wastewater, removal of heavy metals from wastewater and desulfurization of flue gas. In view of the rich resource of magnesite in China, the application of the two products to environmental protection has vast vistas.
