On the Author's Self in the Narrative Fiction

在小说之类的叙事虚构作品中,都有可能发现作者将自我或多或少地显露出来。但是,不论以何种方式出现,都不应该将其中的叙述者或人物等同于作者,而应该将其视为不同形式的作者自我虚构,并形成为具有虚构意义的艺术形象。在这类艺术形象中,包含着作品中的叙述者与作者、作者的自我形象与作者之间的复杂关系。作者自我虚构在作品中可以采取不同的方式来进行,以作者名义出现的叙述者在作品中具有独特的修辞意味。

In the narrative fiction, the author＇s self will be revealed to a certain degree and in a certain form. However, the narrator or the character in fiction should not be regarded as the author but a fictitious self and artistic image in different forms. This kind of image reveals the complicated relation between the narrator and the author and between the author and the author＇s self image. The narrator in the name of the author has its special rhetorical implications.
