The Soul of Man Under Socialism by Oscar Wilde reveals the author's unclear concept on socialism. Wilde understands socialism as a social system in which there is no state government, no power or law, no family or marriage system, no private property or poverty, and in which individualism could enjoy free development, and anarchy is the best for artists. This is a sort of anarchic view, and an unreachable Utopia. However, it is praiseworthy that Wilde could see through some socials evils in those days.
