长期以来,尤其是《马氏文通》出版以来,很多学者倾向于把汉语和英语的语言结构进行对比研究,其结果是把汉语和英语的各级语言结构逐级对应起来,并在此基础上将西方语言理论牵强地应用于汉语的研究。对汉语和英语的语言结构进行较为细致的分析,指出其中的差异,希望能对以后的语言研究,尤其是针对汉语的研究有所帮助。

For a long time, many scholars tend to have a comparative study on Chinese and English language structures and they think that each of Chinese language structure corresponds to a corresponding English language structure. Based on these assumptions, these scholars put western linguistic theories to the study of Chinese language inappropriately. In this article, the writer makes a thorough analysis of Chinese and English language structure and points out the differences between them. The writer hopes that this will be helpful to the future study of language, and especially of the Chinese language study.
