目的:通过查询古代文献,弄清牡丹皮的炮制历史沿革。方法:查阅从汉代到近年的相关文献,进行归纳整理和分析。结果:牡丹皮作为药物始载于《神农本草经》,历代的炮制方法很多,辅料以酒应用最多。结论:牡丹皮在古代应用中,生熟均有应用。

Objective： Through the textual research of ancient documents, to ascertain the historical changes of preparation method of Cortex moutan in different periods. Methods： Consult and classify the documents of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. to summarized and analysis. Results ： The report of preparation of Cortex moutan was first found in Shen Nong＇s Materia Medica. There were many processing methods in ancient. Liquor is the main excipients. Conclusion： In the traditional using,the fresh one and the ripe one were both used.
