Introduction was made to the bus-bar of medium-voltage switchgear for in addition to meet rated voltage, working current, the standard requirements of temperature rise and voltage down losses etc., it should also meet current even distribution, high mechanical strength, good elimination of heat etc. Design of various kinds of bus-bar link structure was made, and analysis was made on its advantage and disadvantage, describing the problems which should be paid attention to in bus-bar linking. Via carrying out of bus-bar link technique, it will be favorable to raise the quality of product and reduce the cost of switchgear.
