碘代丁烷存在下的甲基丙烯酸甲酯自由基聚合反应

摘要 研究了碘代丁烷(1-碘丁烷、2-碘丁烷和碘代叔丁烷)存在下甲基丙烯酸甲酯在60℃、以丁酮或甲苯为溶剂的自由基聚合。结果表明,1-碘丁烷和2-碘丁烷对MMA的聚合无明显影响。而碘代叔丁烷对MMA聚合速率和分子量均有影响:以丁酮为溶剂时,碘代叔丁烷起链转移剂作用;以甲苯为溶剂时,碘代叔丁烷既是链转移剂又是链终止剂。 おhe radical polymerizaation of methyl methacrylate (MMA) in the presence of iodobutane in butanone or toluene at 60℃ was studied.The results show that in the presence of 1iodobutane or 2iodobutane the polymerization of MMA exhibits no obvious different from that of no any iodobutane.In the presence of tbutyl iodid,however,the molecular weight of PMMA obtained as well as the polymerization of MMA will be affected remarkably.In butanone,the tbutyl iodid plays a role as a chain terminator.However,but in toluene the tbutyl iodid inhibits the roles of chain transfer agent as well as chain terminator.
