摘要
回顾了对角加载波束形成的研究历程,提出了一种改进稳健Capon波束形成(RCB)算法。该方法在计算过程中,加入了矩阵平滑及将加权向量向信干子空间投影的步骤,提高了对相干信号的分辨能力以及低信噪比条件下信号功率的估计能力。仿真结果表明该方法能够分辨相干信号,功率估计较为准确,并且在输入信噪比为-10dB的时候,降低旁瓣15dB~20dB;当信源估计个数大于实际个数的时候依然有效。
Recent researches on diagonal loading beamforming are reviewed, and an improved Robust Capon beamformer is proposed. The algorithm can not only estimate the power and Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) of the incoherent signals but estimate those of the coherent signals as well, and also performs better under low SNR than the standard RCB. The basic idea of the improved RCB is to involve additional steps of the matrix smoothing and projecting the weights into signal-plus-interference subspace in the calculation. Simulations suggest a strong ability of the beamformer in separating coherent signals, power estimation and a 15dB-20dB sidelobe-depression as the input SNR at -10dB. Furthermore, the method is still effective when the estimated number of the signal sources is larger.
