SWOT Analysis of Village Tourism in Chengdu and its Development Strategies

本文运用SWOT分析法,对成都周边乡村旅游发展的优势与劣势、机会与威胁进行分析,认为成都周边乡村旅游受省会城市的辐射和自身的特色,乡村旅游的发展取得了一定成就,但也存在一些深层次结构性欠缺和矛盾。在激烈的竞争和旅游形势变化的环境下,成都周边乡村旅游应采取一系列有效策略和措施,促进乡村旅游的快速、持续发展。

By using SWOT Analysis, the author of this article evaluated the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved in the development of village tourism in the suburbs of Chengdu. The author has concluded that the development of village tourism had made certain progress due to the development of Chengdu as the capital of Sichuan province and the features of its own, but there exist some deep - seated structural gaps and contradictions for further development. The author suggests that effective strategies and measures should be taken to promote a rapid, healthy and sustained development because of the fierce competition and great changes in tourism environment.
