危重症医学教学探讨

Discussion on Teaching of Critical Care Medicine

危重症医学是通过充分而合理运用先进的医学理论与技术为危重病人提供有效生命支持和医疗照顾从而提高病人生存率的学科。医学生应掌握救治危重病人的基本技术。虽然危重症医学教育非常重要，但我国目前还没有正规的危重症医学培训教材和课程以供医学生学习和掌握临床抢救的基本技能。本文从临床教学现状和需求出发，探讨适合我国医学生危重症医学教育的策略。

Critical care medicine （ CCM） provides life support techniques and efficient medical care for critically ill patients to improve patients ＇ outcomes with optimizing intensive care unit utilization and continuing to advance the theory and practice of critical care medicine. Medical undergraduate students must acquire the skills necessary to provide state-of-the-art clinical care to critically ill patients and learn to recognize and resuscitate unstable patients. Although CCM education is vitally important, most medical universities in China may not have formal textbooks or core curriculum in CCM to ensure that students learn these skills. This paper discusses principles of providing Chinese medical students with CCM education through reviewing its current status and future needs of medical students.
