SiAlON Bonded Corundum Products Developed by Sinosteel LIRR Used Successfully for Semi-coke Bed of Baosteel’s COREX-C3000 Device On November 24,2007,the first set of COREX-C3000 iron-making furnace in the world with smelting reduction technology was operated successfully under hot load,which started the stage of non-coking iron-making in China.SiAlON bonded corundum products developed independently by Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research(LIRR)was used successfully for semi-coke bed of COREX-C3000 device,
