不同的和谐与冲突观——中西政治文化比较

The Different Viewpoints on Harmony and Conflict——A Comparison between the Chinese Political Culture and the Western.

从政治家之间、政治家与民众、政治家与家人之间的关系看,中西方对政治文化中和谐与冲突的认识截然不同。在西方人看来,政治家之间吵架是正常的,建立在差异基础上的和谐才是真正的和谐;民众的抗议游行也是正常的,公民有权利表达自己的利益偏好,包括通过极端的方式;而政治家的身份和成为好丈夫、好父亲的身份并不矛盾。国内对这些问题的看法则正好与西方相反。通过这三个方面的比较,旨在对国内习以为常的政治文化进行反思,希冀能从中汲取有益的营养。

The Chinese hold completely different views from the Westerners on political culture, the Latter believe that the quarrel between politicians is natural, the protest aiming at a certain leader is acceptable; and the multi-roles of a politician can coexist peacefully. On the other hand, politicians in China are usually afraid of the conflict and the protest. The aim of this article is to reflect on the political culture which we are so accustomed to in the past years and learn something useful from the Western political culture.
