摘要
目的探讨转化生长因子-β(TGF-β)信号传导通路中TGF-β1和Smad4在子宫颈癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法应用免疫组化SP法检测78例宫颈癌和20例正常宫颈组织中TGF-β1和Smad4的表达情况,分析其与宫颈癌各临床病理因素的关系。结果宫颈癌组织中TGF-β1的表达明显高于正常宫颈组织,且表达与宫颈癌原发灶大小、临床分期、病理分级、淋巴转移有关,与患者年龄及组织类型无关;宫颈癌组织中Smad4的表达明显低于正常宫颈组织,且表达与临床分期、病理分级、淋巴结转移有关,与患者年龄、原发灶大小及组织类型无关。宫颈癌组织中TGF-β1和Smad4的表达呈负相关。结论TGF-β1和Smad4共同在宫颈癌的发生发展过程中发挥重要的作用。
Objective To investigate the expression and its clinical significant of TGF-β1 and Smad4 protein in cervical carcinoma. Methods The expression of TGF-β1 and Smad4 was analyzed in 78 cervical carcinoma tissues and 20 normal cervical epithelium by immunohistochemical SP method. The expression of TGF-β1 and Smad4 was then correlated with clinicopathological characteristics. Result TGF-β1 expression in cervical carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal cervical epithelium, and was associated with primary tumor size, clinical stage, pathological grade, lymph node metastasis, but not associated with patient' s age and histological type ;Smad4 expression in cervical carcinoma was significantly lower than that in normal cervical epithelium,and was associated with clinical stage, pathological grade, lymph node metastasis, but not associated with patient's age, primary tumor size and histological type. The expression of TGF-β1 had a negative correlation with that of Smad4. Conclusion TGF-β1 and Smad4 may play an important role in the oncogenesis and development of cervical carcinoma.
