阐述了工程设计中考虑土壤非均质性的必要。介绍了各国学者在双层非均质土壤中电站接地系统计算方面的研究成果及其发展，探讨适用于工程实际的简便而又较精确的计算方法。

This paper explains the necessity of considering soil nonuniformity in practical grounding system design. The study results on calculation of grounding system in two-layer soils in the world are introduced. Finally, simple and accurate algorithm, which is suitable to practical design, is discussed.
