摘要
灵性是人生而蕴含的生命潜能和精神倾向。人的灵性必须经由教育才能从可能走向现实。教育以发展人的灵性为本体,同时也要凭借其功能与社会的其他领域进行资源交换,惟此才能维持自身的存在。在教育的功能体系中,提升人的灵性是本体性功能,满足政治经济需要是派生性功能,它们是同一个教育活动所具有的不同层次的功能,是全面实现教育功能的两个步骤。正确对待和实现教育的这两种功能,需要教育立足于本体,反思性反映现实、超越性适应现实。
Men are born with the seed of spirituality. Spirituality can't grow from possibility to reality unless men are educated. Education takes developing meffs spirituality as its noumenon. Meanwhile, education needs to rely on its functions to have resources exchange with the social environment. Only in this way can it keep its own existence. In the educational functional system, upgrading men's spirituality is the noumenal function and meeting the political and economic demands is the derived function. They are the functions at different levels owed by the same educational activity, which are the two steps to wholly realize educational functions. To correctly treat and realize the two kinds of functions of education needs education to be established in noumenon, to reflect reality reflectively and to adapt to the reality transcendentally.
