After the analysis and summary of the ancient East Asian cities＇ structure, the essay regard that the public space in the ancient East Asian cities had steps in space and users. The realization of space from private to public should be a movement or a whole sight. Then we compared some typical ancient Chinese cities and Japanese ones in lateral and lengthwise, to analyze the how the ancient East Asian cities＇ style growth and the expression of the suitability.
