摘要
PBB是一种MAC-in-MAC技术,目的是实现用户MAC在骨干网的隔离,从而避免骨干网络不必要的大MAC表项管理,原理类似于QinQ技术,只不过一个是屏蔽用户MAC,而另一个则是屏蔽用户VLAN,两者的技术依据都是保持骨干桥的交换机制保持不变,同时提升了业务的扩展性。PBT技术(现称PBB-TE)则借用PBB帧格式,修改控制功能,关闭以太网MAC地址学习和STP协议,采用隧道方式转发和规划流量,从而为流量控制、接入控制和业务控制。
