摘要
与传统的软件开发不同,DSP软件开发不仅要求软件能够满足具体的功能需求,而且对软件的内存需求和MIPS需求有着严格的要求。为了满足这些要求,软件开发后通常还需代码优化。该文着重介绍了一些能有效减少程序内存需求、加快程序执行的代码优化方法。仿真实验表明,从代码量和执行时间两方面使代码运行效率得到了提高。
Compared with the traditional software development,software development in DSP field requires not only to satisfy its functions,but also to meet the memory and MIPS limits strictly. In order to meet ends with these limits, DSP algorithms always need to be optimized after be programmed. This paper targets to illustrate some methods of code optimization on TMS320C67x DSP according to our practices in this field. These methods are very efficient in memory cutting down and program accelerating. Results of the experiment show that efficiency of the code is improved greatly on capacity and time of the implementation.
