摘要
本文从对待学生的看法、对待知识的认识、课堂教学的组织、以及对学习任务的设立等四个方面分析了我国外语教学的现状,指出要使外语教学向更高层次迈进的关键是教师的教学理念;这种理念的核心内容应当包括:对课堂教学的教育功能的认识、对语言学习本质的认识以及对课堂教学形态的认识。只有当外语教师树立了正确的教学理念,才能实现教学向教育的转变,教书匠向教育家的转变。
The paper, from the attitude toward students, understanding of knowledge, organization of the classroom teaching and definition of the classroom tasks, analyzes the present situation of the foreign language teaching in China, pointing out that teacher' s belief plays a vital role in raising the classroom teaching to a still higher level. The core of the belief should include teacher' s understanding of the educational function of classroom teaching, of the true nature of learning and of the patterns of classroom teaching. Only when a correct belief is established in classroom teaching can the transformation be realized from a teacher to an ,educator as well as from teaching to education.
