Characteristics of urban greening in Yinchuan City

根据银川市的区域优势和地理气候特点,结合现代城市园林绿化的发展方向,提出银川市城市绿化要坚持生态园林、城市森林(城市人工林)建设的发展方向,以人为本,回归自然,坚持因地制宜、植物造景及乡土树种为主的原则,营建节约型城市生态绿地系统,体现自然、大气、简朴、节约的总体绿化风格;并就绿化特色与风格的实现途径进行论述。

Based on the regional advantage, climate conditions of Yinchuan and the development of modern urban gardening and landscaping, authors proposed that the urban greening in Yinchuan should abide by the development of ecological landscape architecture and urban forestry （urban plantation ）, and comply with the principles of human-centered, return to nature, local-conditions based, landscaping with plants and use of native trees as the mainstay to built a resource-saving green urban ecosystem which will represent an overall style of naturalness, decent, simplicity and resource saving. Finally, the authors also discussed approaches to achieving these characteristics and style of urban greening in Yinchuan.
