Causes of Harassment of Tourists Analysis and Its Countermeasures

1998年土耳其巴巴多斯政府把针对旅游者的"侵扰"定义为"使用猥亵语言、手势和行动,挖苦、虐待和侮辱人"。当一种行为超出了人的承受范围,就变为侵扰。在旅游景区侵扰行为的发生直接影响着旅游者的满意度,也影响着旅游者的重游率。可是目前国内学术界对旅游者侵扰问题的研究较少,还没有找出侵扰的成因以及解决对策。提出了5种侵扰类型:过度兜售、语言侮辱、暴力侵害、性骚扰、毒品贩卖,分析了侵扰对旅游地的影响和侵扰发生的原因,提出了针对性的建议,试图使政府、旅行社、酒店、景点、交通和购物服务提供者重视侵扰对地方和全国旅游业的发展造成的冲击,从而改善旅游目的地的人文环境,提高旅游目的地的服务质量,推动当地旅游产业的发展。

The government of Barbados in turkey viewed harassment generally as ＂the use of obscene language,gestures,and actions to annoy,taunt,abuse,and insulted a person＂ in 1998.The experience of harassment depended on moving outside a tolerance rune.Harassment in the tourism areas directly impacted on the satisfaction of tourists and also affected the tourists＇ tour once more. However, the research on harassment of tourists was still limited in domestic academic field,but also did not identify the reasons for harassment and its eountermeasures. This article raised five types of harassment： harassment by vendoors,verbal abuse,physical abuse,sexual harassment and peddling of drugs, analyzed the impact of harassment on tourism areas and the cause of harassment, and made targeted recommaendations, tried to raise attention of the government, travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, attractions, transportation and shopping service providers about the harassment serious impacfion on the local or national tourism development,to improve human environment of tourist destinations, improve services quality in tourist destinations,thus stimulated the develolpoment of local tourism industry.
