摘要
运用语料库方法,以中介语理论为基础,采用中介语对比分析,错误分析和母语迁移的主要观点,对中国英语学习者在英语写作中习得There-be存在句时出现的一些语言学现象进行研究。研究发现:1)简单基本的There-be结构,中国英语学习者在学习此结构的初期就已习得,随着语言水平的提高,简单句式类型的使用频率逐渐降低,然而复杂句式类型的使用频率总体呈缓慢上升趋势;2)不同语言水平的英语学习者在不同类型的There-be结构错误使用中存在着明显的特征,造成错误使用的原因主要来自于汉语负迁移。
This paper reports a corpus-based study on the acquisition of English There-be construction in Chinese EFL (English as a foreign language) learners'writing. Based on the theories of Interlanguage (IL), Contrastive Interlanguage Analysis (CIA), Language Transfer (LT) and Error Analysis (EA), the results indicate that. First, the basic types of structural expansions used in There-be construction are acquired by learners at the very beginning. Subsequently, with the increase of learners' proficiency, there is a tenden- cy of reduction for the simple types; in contrast, the trend for the complex types is increasing gradually. Second, there are some explicit characteristics in the errors of There-be construction use committed by Chinese EFL learners at different levels. In addition, it's evident that negative L1 transfer may play a prominent role in these errors.
