Theoretical Evolution and Innovation About the Cultural Development in the Reports of the Six CPC National Congresses Since the Initiation of Reform and Opening Up

从中共十二大到十七大,社会主义精神文明或文化建设始终是大会报告的重要内容之一。阅读和分析六次党代会报告文本,能够清晰地看到党在文化建设理论上的演进,发现其中的一贯性、继承性和发展性、创新性。从十二大到十七大,党对精神文明或文化建设战略地位的认识,对精神文明或文化建设的指导方针的阐释,以及对文化体制改革、民族文化的认知等,则随着中国经济社会的发展,随着中国特色社会主义理论的总体演进,而不断调整、创新和丰富。

Socialist ethical progress or cultural development was always one of the focuses in the political reports from the 12^th to the 17^th National Congress of the CPC. Reading and analyzing these six reports one can clearly see the evolution of the Party＇ s theory of cultural development and discover its consistency, inheritance, development and innovation. From the 12^th to the 17^th National Congress the understanding of the strategic importance of ethical progress or eultural development, the elaboration of the guiding principles and the knowledge of cultural restructuring and national culture have been constantly readjusted, innovated and emriched along with the economic and sociai development in China and the evolution of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as a whole.
