进行政治体制改革是新时期我国经济发展和社会进步的必然要求。从党的十一届三中全会到十四大,伴随着经济体制改革的深入开展,政治体制改革也在酝酿、提出并逐步展开,在党的领导下,循序渐进地稳步推进,为其后的改革创造了条件,奠定了扎实的基础。同时,从实际出发,在探索中不断积累经验,逐步找寻到一条符合中国国情的改革之路。

Political restructuring is one of the exorable requirements of economic development and social progress in China in the new period. From the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee to the 14th National Congress of the CPC, with the deep-going economic restructuring the political restructuring developed from deliberations to gradual unfolding, and steadily progressed under the leadership of the Party, thus initiating a good beginning of, and laying a solid foundation for, the reform in the future. At the same time, the political restructuring proceeded from the actual conditions, accumulated experience in explorations and gradually blazed a road of reform conforming to the reality of China.
