日本人自杀行为背后的文化因素探析

Cultural Background of the Suicide in Japan

自杀是人类社会不可回避的一种文化现象,引起自杀的原因是隐藏在其背后的深层的文化因素。从日本人对自杀者的宽容、日本人自卑的处世哲学、日本人的"死亡即美"的观念等角度,解读日本人在生死问题上特有的文化心理,即死是生之延续,死是道德的自我完善,是一种修身律己的行为。

Suicide has been an unavoidable cultural phenomenon of the society, which is caused by various cultural factors. From the aspects of toleration toward suicide, self-abasement of the Japanese people, and view of ＂death being beauty＂, this paper tries to illustrate the unique cultural mentality of the Japanese people, that is, death is the continuation of life, the cultivation and perfection of one＇s moral character, and self discipline.
