浅议择校热的原因

A Brief Analysis of Craze for Choosing Top Schools

尽管教育部门都明令遏制基础教育阶段择校,可是每年的择校热从来没有真正冷下来过。择校成功者往往是凭借关系和金钱得遂心愿,在他们的孩子成功挤进"名校"、重点学校时,却剥夺了其他学生本该享有的权利。这种损害教育公平的择校现象,在建设和谐社会的进程中亟待引起政府部门的高度关注。

Although the choosing of top schools in the basic education phase is prohibited by official order, it has never ceased. While some students cram into the top schools by backdoor connections or money, the others are pushed out and deprived of their right to receive better education, which damages the principle of education equity. So this phenomenon is supposed to be concerned by the government and education authority in the construction of socilism harmonious society.
