摘要
《白鲸》是一部气势恢弘的捕鲸史诗。结合弗莱的原型批评理论,分析了麦尔维尔的宗教思想,通过运用与圣经中对应的人名来深化其小说主题,认为麦尔维尔是很具有《圣经》宗教意识的小说家。
By comparing the characters in the Bible through Weller＇s proto criticism theory, this paper analyzes Herman Melville＇s religious thinking in his novel Moby Dick, an epic of whale catching, which demonstrates that Melville was a religious writer.
