摘要
针对结构相似度模型在模糊图像以及低位率压缩降质图像评价中存在的不足,提出一种基于小波域结构相似度的图像质量评价(WDSSIM)算法.该算法将整幅图像划分成具有不同尺度和频率特征的子带图像,比较原始图像和失真图像的子带图像之间的结构相似度,并依据视觉系统对于不同频率特征失真敏感程度进行加权.实验结果分析表明,WDSSIM算法对于更广泛一类的图像评价与主观感受保持较好的一致性.
Aiming at some deficiencies of structural similarity(SSIM) model in assessing badly blurred or low bit-rate compressed images, a new image quality assessment algorithm based on wavelet domain structure similarity (WDSSIM) is proposed. It decomposes the whole image into subband images with different scales and frequencies, and then compares the structural similarity of each subband image between the original and degraded image, and weights the results according to the contrast sensitive function (CSF) properties of human visual system. Experimental results demonstratd that the WDSSIM algorithm could keep better cousistency with subjective perception for wider kinds of images.
