摘要 Economic globalization,knowledge economy and information revolution together have changed the common traits of developing countries,causing apparent division among them and complicating world balance of power.Dong Manyuan,Senior Research Fellow of CIIS,believes in a paper he contributed Economic globalization, knowledge economy and information revolution together have changed the common traits of developing countries, causing apparent division among them and complicating world balance of power. Dong Manyuan, Senior Research Fellow of CIIS, believes in a paper he contributed to this issue entitled Strategic Implications of the Division of Developing Countries that these changes have incurred strategic implications on the South-South relations as well as North.South relations, Against this background, a number of developing countries are rising, presenting very different global interest patterns from the past. Mr. Dong also points out that China, as the biggest developing country, links its future and destiny closely with that of the developing group.
