Training qualified medical talents for rural area by deepening curriculum reform

为适应北京农村医疗卫生事业发展及农村基层对医学人才需求的变化,在深入调研基础上,制定了首都医科大学燕京医学院三年制临床医学专业新的教学模式和课程体系,是以为北京市农村乡镇及基层医疗卫生单位培养下得去、用得上的实用型临床医学人才为宗旨,强化临床能力培养和执业能力,彰显专业特色,加强实验教学、人文素质和医患沟通能力的培养,全面提升学生的实践能力和综合素质。

Based on the investigation of the development and needs of medical talents in the rural area in belling, the new teacning model and curriculum system of the three-year program of clinical medicine in Yanjing Medical College of Capital Medical University has been designed. The purpose of the new teaching model and curriculum aims at training practical clinical talents for the grass-root medical units in the rural area of Beijing. It will emphasize the experimental teaching as well as students＇ practical abilities and overall qualities in the course of instruction.
