美国厚皮甜瓜引种与适应性评估

Evaluation on adaptability of introduced American muskmelons

对从美国引进的１７份甜瓜材料进行了种子发芽、苗期、营养生长期、生殖生长期、产量及果实品质等方面的观察试验，初选出适合本地生态条件的材料４份，即Ａｕｒｏｒａ，ＡＣ８２３７Ｒｏｐｃｙ，Ｃｈｉｌｔｏｎ，ＡＣ８２４５Ａ。初选材料具有抗病、耐湿、生长势强和产量高等优势，但含糖量较低，品质欠佳，只能作育种资源使用。

From 1990 to 1991,at the experiment station of Hubei Agricultural College, the observation test on seed emergence, seedling stage, nutritive growth stage, reproductive growth stage, diseases resistance, fruit yield and quality of 17 kinds of American muskmelons was conducted. Aurora, AC 82 37 Ropcy, Chilton, AC 82 45A which can grow under the ecological condition of Jianghan plain were initially chosen. These materials have advantages on diseases resistance, waterlogged tolerance,growth potential and high yield, but the fruits saccharinity is low and quality is not very good. Therefore all the muskmelons above can just be used as breeding germplasms.
