Study on the Network Device Driver Under the Linux System

Linux是一种日趋成熟完善的操作系统,越来越多的软硬件厂商开始使用Linux平台来开发自己的产品,因而对基于该平台的设备驱动程序的需求也愈来愈多。同时从国内外发展情况来看,信息家电将是日后家电发展的一大方向,甚至可以说是主方向。文章分析研究了Linux下网络设备驱动程序的体系结构、模块功能以及网络设备驱动程序在Linux下的实现模式,在此基础上总结出设计网络设备驱动程序的一般方法,并对网络设备驱动程序(红外设备驱动程序)进行了测试。

Linux is an operating system in process of maturing and perfecting. More and more hareware and software manufacturers begin to develop product on Linux platform, so the demand for device driver based on Linux platform is more and more strong. With the development abroad and at home, information appliance oriented development will become the main direction domestically. This paper summarizes the method of designing networking device driver, based on analyzing the architecture, module function and realization mode of networking device driver under Linux system, and make a test for infrared device driver.
