思想政治教育的最高思维范畴就是价值。价值是思想政治教育安身立命的本源。思想政治教育历史价值客观上折射出它的当前价值意蕴:物质生产力的发展价值;道德精神资源的开发价值;和谐社会的构建价值。在现代条件下,物质性、精神性、实践性成为思想政治教育价值的内在规定性,构成思想政治教育时代价值的三个维度。三者相辅相成,共同指向思想政治教育存在的当前意义。
