摘要
以前的研究与实验已经充分表明,基于延时的拥塞控制优于基于报文丢失事件的拥塞控制。不幸的是,这些模型大多忽略了反向流量的影响。针对这个问题,我们提出了一个简单的分析模型,重点分析拥塞窗口的平衡点与往返延时之间的关系。实验结果表明,反向路径的延时与前向数据路径具有同样的重要性。
The previous theory and experiments show that the delay-based algorithm outperforms other congestion control algorithms with loss-based events. Unfortunately, these models always neglect the impact of traffic in the reverse path. To address this problem, we develop a simple analytical model, and study the relations between the equilibrium window size and the round trip time (RTT). Results show that the delay in the reverse path has the same importance as the forward data path in determining the equilibrium window size and the throughput of the delay-based algorithm in congestion control.
