摘要
西方修辞学理论认为体裁是复现的特定情景中的典型修辞行为。西方国家的相关教学研究表明,英语体裁写作教学能显著提高学生的英语写作能力。在EFL英语体裁写作教学新模式中,教师可以通过对比英汉语的相应语篇体裁来培养学生的体裁写作意识,提高学生的英语写作水平。
In the western rhetoric, genre refers to typical rhetorical behaviors based on reoccurring situations, which is originated from the Western Classical Rhetoric and has developed into two camps presently, i.e. , the Linguistic School and the Non-linguistic group. And studies in western countries have proved that genre-based English writing pedagogies, especially those based on Writing across the Curriculum, can help students improve their English writing abilities dramatically. Therefore, English composition teachers in China can try to raise the generic awareness of their students and enable them to become successful English writers by comparing English and Chinese discourse genres respectively based on a new EFL genre-based writing pedagogy.
